Dish Rack – Stainless Steel with Wood Handles

This is really a cute and very functional dish drainer, it holds a lot of dishes, and the wood adds a nice touch. Even though I have a dishwasher, I do end up washing quite a bit of dishes by hand daily. I hit the wood handles with mineral oil to protect them from too much water. The drain pan on the other hand really needs to be wiped dry every day otherwise it gets a bit slimy (thus, four stars). I ended up removing the drain pan and placing the rack on a wire mesh sheet pan rack covered with a dish towel; and the drain pan makes a perfect tray for my cat's water and food dishes.

This is perfect for my kitchen. Compact and attractive. Another reviewer mentioned that plates fall over, which is true but I find that easy enough to manage. It's just a matter of making sure they lean on something. Over the past few years I tried several different racks with drain spouts that are supposed to drain into the sink only to be disappointed because they leak water onto the counter or just don't drain all that well. Going with this style solves that problem and dumping the water out of the tray each evening after a day of drying dishes is so simple!

I highly recommend and was exactly what I was looking for. It arrived quickly and was easy to set up and start using immediately. The size is perfect for my kitchen counter and it holds a good amount of dishes without taking up too much space. The stainless steel feels durable, and the removable drainboard and cutlery holder are super convenient for keeping things neat and tidy. Great product!

I bought this for my sister and BIL who don’t own a dishwasher. This rack is wonderful, holds a lot of dishes, drains well into the sink and the cutting board rack is perfect for large boards or baking sheets. I’d buy this again in a heartbeat.

Only 4 stars because of the tray that it comes with. It stains very easily and does not have a draining hole. Otherwise high quality and small enough for apartment kitchens.
